Recently IEMS has been tasked with the central coordination of Online International Learning [OIL] Projects as a platform to internationalise the curriculum.
In 2012-13, 1,300 CU students have participated in these projects.
Victoria Boynton, Semester Abroad at Anadolu University, Eskisehir, Turkey; Professor of English, SUNY Cortland, Professional Writing Program. Boynton teaches courses in rhetoric, poetics, and writing in creative genres. Her article, “Whiteness Studies and Literature Classrooms: Confronting Denial and Defensiveness in White Students,” illustrates this commitment to studying cultural identity.
She is about to start offering courses in International Writing and Editing with her colleague Dr. Her publications include Herspace: Women, Writing, and Solitude, with Dr. Beth Burns, Instructional Designer, Buffalo State College.
