Employees most commonly leave their jobs due to poor management practices, a situation that increases costs and lowers the talent present in a business. In the same fashion, the third model is the thermostat model that is the cybernetic model of administration controls (Koskela and Howell 2002).It consists of elements such as the standard of performance and measurement of performance of the output.Little doubt exists as to whether a management model will work, because the track record of the model speaks for itself.Management practices focus more on dynamics between groups, which allows managers more flexibility in making decisions and helps employees function together as a unit when they work together on a project.Another example of the humanistic perspective is for that individual to be able to focus on their strengths rather than their own faults. In the human perspective, the individual is encouraged not to look past his or her flaws as that individual works toward a more satisfied and completed life.People who create management theories rely upon observation and mathematics in order to construct a model for business activities.Management practice relies upon case studies and the individual experiences of managers when dealing with workplace situations.Curlee and Gordon (2010) poised that the theories of project administration are divided into two classes; theory of project and the theory of management. The assumptions of this theory are that the tasks are independent, except for sequential relations, there are uncertainties, and that tasks are discrete and bounded (Curlee and Gordon 2010).
