wiki How is a “wiki,” similar to Wikipedia, which means that many of our articles are co-written by multiple authors. A great way to grow your writing skills is to start a creative writing club, where you can share your work with others who are invested in cultivating the same craft.
We welcome writers of all genres and experience levels.
Our work has deep roots in the Amherst Writers and Artists writing workshop method, created by Pat Schneider and described in her book Writing Alone and With Others.

The Creative Writing Club is open to Allen Community College students interested in writing poetry, prose, plays, song lyrics, graphic novels, and other genres.
The purpose of the Creative Writing Club is to provide a positive and productive atmosphere for developing student writers to integrate, learn, and grow.
In addition, the organization will teach students to harness creativity effectively with a variety of different contests or workshops and exercises so as to benefit an individual's skill and competence as a writer.
The Creative Writing Club's secondary purpose is to provide a focused forum in which students can build a professional writing resume.
(NYWC) is one of the largest community-based creative writing programs in the world.
