I’ve learned a lot about myself during the past few years, but the most important lesson I’ve learned was to change my attitude.
Some people like to categorize themselves by attitude, and call themselves optimists or pessimists.
Your beliefs shape your attitude, so the first step to changing a negative attitude is to change your beliefs.
If your attitude is not in the right place, you don’t allow yourself to adapt and change.
People also argue to force their viewpoint on others or just to let off steam. Fear encourages people to withdraw, keep information close to their vest, hide mistakes, and refuse to take risks.
Whether their fear is caused by something real or imagined, perception is reality.
Do you think you should put in the work and continue to develop and change yourself, or are you fine living the life you live now?
I wouldn’t say you’re permanently an optimist or a pessimist.
It doesn’t matter how much information you try to feed them.
It doesn’t matter how much you try to persuade them.
